Just got it today, although I was sad to see no apparent way to do this. Is there some way of tweaking it up to allow for this ability, or will I just have to suck it up?

When adding or editing a contact press the menu button and choose the Custom Ring Tone Option. You can also set up a new exception in your profiles menu, this info can also be found by referring to your manual or you could even visit BlackBerryFAQ.com
