At least it wasn't permanently

I added an application, it didn't work like I wanted to, so I deleted it. After Desktop Manager finished erasing it, the hourglass spun on the BB for a while and eventually I got "App Error 523" and had to reset my blackberry.

Unfortunately I already lost all my contacts, but thanks to bitpim I got them off my old phone so I can transfer them back over. I'll figure out how to do that soon enough I'm sure.

However, now the icons that were created for my email addresses are gone, despite the fact that my phone is still receiving those emails (if I go to email settings they're all still there). Is there a way to get the blackberry to recreate the icons or am I going to have to erase the account and readd it?

I don't want to make a new thread so I'll just post here - I fixed the email problem by resending the service books.

I was able to get my contacts back onto my phone by adding them to outlook and then syncing the contacts over. Now I want to do the same thing with my calendar, but that doesn't seem to be working. I selected the calendar, then hit synchronize, and the progress bar comes up. But then it just goes away, without any sort of notification and it brings me back to the sychronization main screen. Previously when syncing contacts, it would prompt me with the changes it was about to sync, and then allow me to accept/reject them. It did nothing like that when trying to sync the calendar.

Any ideas?

You might want to check under the Desktop Manager, Synchronize, configure synch, and make sure that the correct options are set for the calendar; i.e. Outlook, or whichever you're synching it with, and that its a two-way sync.

I have it set to do a one way sync from Outlook to my BB. Would that make a difference?

Well I set it to two way and that didn't make a difference. It brings up the progress bar, gets to "One Moment Please" then my computer beeps and it goes back to the main screen without any errors or notifications (but nothing happens). If I check the sync log it doesn't even acknowledge that the sync took place.
