Does anyone know when the k850i will be getting a firmware update? I've been waiting patiently for 3 months now, and it's driving me insane!!

Same here.... I been wanting to buy a K850i but I couldn't afford it, now that I sort of can, I won't. Reason is I have a good friend that has one and he's always telling me that he can't wait for the upgrade since it has soooooooo many bugs. I think at this point I'm just going to get the ROGERS one and hopefully that will have a much more stable firmware, although it will probably be crippled.

i seriously dont know what all this fuzz is about?? i have 037 and i have no bugs what so ever, its very stable. i just want a better camera driver

I am also waiting for a firmware update. Things are running great for me but I hope for better lighting with the next camera firmware.

I have 029 running on an unbranded/unlocked k850 [from France I think] and when I try to upgrade the firmware it says I have the latest so I can't even get 037

Firmware 038 is out today for the K850i on O2 in the UK.

Does anyone know where I might be able to unlock my Rogers (Canada) K850 with a generic American firmware?? The phone is finally available and I'm gonna pick it up. Knowing Rogers, the phone will be bogged down with extra stuff I don't need and features blocked.

Wotan doesn't seem to have the K850 listed yet.

I got the latest firmware from SEUS although its only O2 phones that it will upgrade at the moment.

i got my k850 from rogers yesterday.
rogers really locked a lot of options on the phone...
wich firmware should i get for my phone??

I just flashed my TIM Italy Branded but Unlocked phone to a UK Customized through Davinciteam, then I upgraded it to a the SEUS version if that makes sense.

IF I were you wait till the newest GENERIC firmware is out then debrand your phone.

I have R1CA037 and my phone is so slow to do everything. I just got it a couple hours ago and the screen has gotten all garbled only once and the phone has only froze (to the point where I had to take the battery out) once!! How lucky am I???

Anyway, does anyone know how long has the R1CA037 firmware has been out? This'll give me an idea of when the new firmware will eventually come out.

Has anyone had luck updating the phone using the OTA (over-the-air) firmware upgrade process?

I have the Rogers K850i and I love it except the phone reboots every now and then but other then that I wish I could debrand it but then I lose the rogers vision stuff that I have and enjoy using

about one month ago i bought a k850 unlocked. and it has a lot of bugs but someone told me i wasnt going to be able to have the newest firmware.. is this true?
am i going to be stuck with the same bugs or is there something i can do?
it came with the 037 software can anybody help me??

It's out!!! For those who didn't already know, the new firmaware is available on SEUS.
I have an unlocked phone wih the Asian New Zealand firmware, and I was able to update it. My friend has the Western Europe firmware and he was able to update it before me.

Does anyone know how I can get the latest one now and upgrade it? The SE software told me that I have the latest but I clearly don't.
