I have a BB 8110 on Rogers. When I try to load softward with the application load, I get this message "no additional applications designed for your device were found".

My Curve use to do this until I deleted C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader\vendor.xml

This trick does not work on the 8110.

Removing the vendor.xml file is only handy when you're loading another carrier's OS on your device. You're getting that message because you haven't installed the OS on your PC. Once you download and install the OS on your computer you'll be able to install applications via desktop manager. If you have a Rogers branded BlackBerry running the latest Rogers OS then you'll need to download that OS from here. Having said that RIM has not publicly released the Rogers OS at this current time therefore you'll have to keep checking back and in the meantime load applications OTA.

i had this same problem when i switched BB devices from a 7130 to an 8820. I had to download the 8820 file from RIM and it corrected the problem.

Try upgrading your Blackberry Desktop software. Version 4.3.0.15 is available...
