If you compared it to the Sidekick and BB Pearl? IS it worth spending 100 dollars? I am thinking of getting it but I wanna hear pros and cons of it. Thanks.

i switched from a pearl to the dash because my pearl was constantly freezing while looking at websites.. haven't had any problems w/ the dash yet and it's been a while..

tho i did like how small the pearl was, and the suretype..

I love the Dash. I've kept this phone longer than I've kept a phone for a while. I hope there's a 3G version when Tmo gets their 3G launched.

Thank you for the replies. I was wondering, with the Dash I am able to check my yahoo emails correct? Do I need a special plan for it? Thanks.

I know some people have been able to use the 5.99 TmoWeb plan, but in my area (RI, MA) I had to sign up for the 19.99 TotalInternet plan. I love my Dash, but I've only had it for 2 weeks. I bought a metal case for it to protect the screen, I'm wicked paranoid due to the complaints I've heard of the screen breaking easily. Don't have any issues with it freezing or going too slow. I installed SiriusWM5 on it and can use my Sirius account to sign on and listen to live Sirius anytime, anywhere. Considering the mobile Sirius radio cost about $300 and my Dash only cost me 130, I feel like I got a bargain! I also installed Slingbox Mobile, but it only works when I have a wifi hookup.

I just got a Dash a few days ago, care to link to the metal case you got? I'm interested in getting one too maybe. thanks!

My husband and I both own a Dash and both use the $5.99 data plan with proxy. We've not had any problem with the screens on ours, and we carry our phones in our pockets all the time. We do have plastic screen protectors on them, so that strengthens them, I'm sure.

the Dash is great for a WM/Std QWERTY phone. Nice to have wifi. Tzones $5.99/mo data is adequate for almost everything including Yahoo email and Slingbox, provided you configure it correctly.

I got it from Ebay, its an InnoPocket deluxe aluminum case. I like it a lot, it's not too bulky and is lined with neoprene to help absorb shock, and it doesn't seem to affect my reception at all.

Although I moved over to a Wing, the dash is an awesome device. I never had a problems with it, I just prefered the customizable plug-ins on the home screen.

where do all of you who have the 5.99 plan live? I've tried to set it up using every config I could find, on this forum and others, and its a no-go for me.

I'd like to know too please.

Bump. I wanna know this, too.

We are in central Ohio and use the $5.99 plan via proxy on the Dash.

i bought the dash when it first came out and i liked it for about a month i kept having issues with it so i got rid of it but i went back to it a couple times. Its a good phone and deff worth it if you can get it for like 100. I was able to use the 5.99 data plan for a while but eventually it stopped working and i had to get the 19.99 data plan. i lived in downtown chicago.

I had the dash broke it, bought a pearl, dropped that bought a wing put it in the closet then the a curve.... Neway right back to the dash. Presto ... Happy all over a gain.
