i've got an iphone (8gb) firmware 1.1.3 on a t-mobile plan, with internet-flat etc. after having read about jailbreaking, and all the good things that come from it, i would really like to jailbreak mine.

so my question is, after jailbreaking my iphone, will i still be able to use this t-mobile card on the phone, with the internet flat, etc?

or do they ban people or something? what are the set-backs to jailbreaking an iphone?

be patient, you posted your question at 6 in the morning... to answer you question yes you will still be able to use your tmobile and no you wont lose access to your internet if your paying for it. Im a tmobile customer myself and am using the internet by subscribing to the $20 internet plan.

And there are no set backs to jailbreaking...it only adds to the sweetness factor of the phone. Its not illegal or anything. When I go to the AT&T store for something, the iPhone salesmen are always asking me how I did this and that. Its funny, you would think they would know more about it than me
