N-Gage on n95 8gb

I just got the n-gage 2.0 app for n95 8gb, and its pretty sweet, so far the only games available are system rush, hooked on, space impact and some other trivial game i havent tried yet, system rush is really wicked looking/fun to play and the n-gage arena for it is pretty sweet too

why can't you use wifi???
first define your wifi access point in the phone, using wlan wizard, then in the n-gage app, in profile>n-gage settings>connection settings, change preferred access point to your wifi connection name

I can log in and use arena, but nobody is ever playing, so no games are ever found

yea i use wifi i've played quite a few rounds of system rush in n-gage arena mode its great on wifi

I tried it on N95-3, all of the menus were blank... When I tried to update, it just opened the web browser to the Ngage site telling me if I were an N81 owner I could try the preview... guess I'll wait for an official version

i tried it but cant find the wifi settings on ngage, it only gives me att connection pts

Try with the sim in, sometimes I get funky wifi/bluetooth issues when I go simless

Also, be sure to define your wifi access point in WLAN wizard first, I only had ATT as an option too, until my wifi access point was "known" in the phone

I had it working the first day it came (even downloaded the fishing game). The next day, they took all of the choices away, so I am stuck with the same game...go figure...

same here, there is nothing available in the showroom anymore, no game of the week, nothing to download, everything is blank, luckily I have the game files and put them in the n-gage folder on the card, and they install themselves

that's weird, my showroom works fine, i'm just not sure if i should buy the games or wait till the official release for n95

doesn't work on mine either, which is funny because it was there the first few days it was out, I was even able to download blockbreaker! then it went blank, either way, just find the game files of the games you want (google) and drop them in the n-gage folder on your memory card and when you start the app it will automatically install, slowly, just be sure to install the game on the memory card when it asks, all my games except blockbreaker have been installed this way and they work fine

has anyone bought fifa 08 yet? i just got the trial version but i dont like how the keys are mapped out and its not possible to change them, i was wondering if the full version allows u to change the keys.
i have a n95 8gb and wanna play in landscape mode with the music keys, is this possible in the full version?

If you're using WiFi or have a decent data plan that its easiest to download and install the games using the N-Gage showroom on the phone.

If you're on a PC:
  1. Go to www.n-gage.com
  2. Click the showroom button near the top of the page
  3. Click on the game you want to get
  4. Click the free trial button
  5. Click on the Nokia N95 GB picture
  6. Click the Yes checkbox for the question "Is N-Gage installed on your device?"
  7. Click the `next' button.
  8. Click the checkbox beside `Yes, I agree to the Terms and Conditions'
  9. Click the `Download and install game now' button.
  10. Unzip the game installer you just downloaded.
  11. Run the game installer program and follow its intructions.
