KRZR Won't Boot Up Normally

OK, I'm a complete Noob. But I'm in desperate need of some help.
I purchased a used Verizon K1M. I live in American Samoa, and we have two cell phone providers... only one of which utilizes CDMA. They've been able to use the Verizon phones with ease in the past. I powered my phone up and everything appeared to be working correctly. I even started programming some new numbers into the phone.
Yesterday, I took my Krzr to the cell phone store and they began reprogramming it to fit their NAM2 system (I think). Then the manager says, "it says it doesn't have a signal." So, she messes with the phone some more, punches some buttons, and then says, "oops. this shouldn't happen."
Turns out, when you power on, the Verizon intro tone comes on, but instead of the Verizon main menu, there's a series of numbers and letters on a white background! I can dial numbers (although I can't see the numbers I'm dialing) and make calls... but I can't see anything other than this jibberish display.
Please help. Should I try a master flash? Did the Cell Phone Rep screw my phone up permanently?
Any help is appreciated.
the following is the jibberish on the screen...

Thanks for the help. Before your advice, I just monster flashed the phone, and it's fine now. Thanks again.
