Music thru wired headset - BJ2

I bought the wired headset (stereo w/ microphone). In order to listen to music thru thru the headset, I have to reboot the phone w/ the headset plug-in.
And vice versa...if i want to go back to speaker phone...unplug it and reboot.
Is there way or shortcut to solve this issue?

That sounds painful...I don't have that problem with my BJ1. It just switches whenever I plug and unplug the headset
