u do need to unlock any sprint phones msl inorder to use it on another service if i'm not mistaken...try a program called qpst...

umm please explain more... Ive unlocked the phone using the latest bootloader and have upgraded it with dcds alltel ROM - however when i place a call im still hitting sprints NETWORK.

What all is needed to once I choose to switch to altell ?

I downloaded QPST program and installed. Now I also got the Qualcomm USB Drivers and don't know what to do with them. I unzipped them and don't know what to do! Can someone please help. Thanks!

You need to load the alltel prl into the phone....there's a wiki on how ot do it on this site under FAQ...it will make the phone find alltels towers

also the msl has to be set to 6 zeros in order to *228 the prls....

killervette r u trying to get the msl off of the phone? The easiest way is with se47.exe...kyocera unlocker tool...lets u reset the msl all u do is plug phone in make sure its on com1 or com2 and you're good to go

I also only have usb port on my computer and cannot get the computer to see as a com port. I have downloaded every driver but do not know where or how to install. Thanks for any help.

a com port is basically like an address your computer assigns devices when you plug them in...try going to mobile-files.com..lotta good info there...you just need to read and research i'm not sure that you know enough about computers to accomplish what you're trying to do.....not trying to be a a-hole...look on mobile files for usb drivers for a mogul...it should be easy to find several threads about it there...then find the kyocera tool its there too, then put phone in diag mode.. ##DIAG Talk with it hooked up to comp via usb cable run se47 it unlocks phone then you can do whatever you like with it.
