Everytime i send a PIN request it keeps saying pending. I even sent a request to my girlfriend who was sitting right next to me and the request didn't go through.

What exactly am i doing wrong.

Have you signed up for the Blackberry data plan? PIN messaging will only work if you are on a data plan. Have you tried to power cycle the device, remove the battery and reinsert it.

When you're sending it, take note if it says "Email" or "PIN"...If you're sending it to email that could explain it

My guess is that's exactly the problem.

When you try to add a contact, scroll up to the top and highlight "Use Once", then hit your BB button, it will ask you to request by PIN or request by Email. Choose PIN. If you skip this step will automatically choose "request by Email" by default. I had the exact same problem.

When i go to add contact, i select the 'use once option" and it goes to an Email screen. Im using the Curve and that seems to be the only screen it goes to

When you highlight a contact to add, do NOT click to select it. Just hover over the name with the highlight. Then use the menu key. Now send the request to PIN not Email. The default when you click on the name... even use once.... is to send e-mail. By just highlighting the name ... or use once... and then the menu key, you can make sure you send to the PIN number.
