Hi,

I'm having a problem with my Touch (original, unbranded) where I can't hear any sound comeing form the internal speakers while calling/receiving - speakerphone and handsfree works fine though. I've already researched this and seems like a hardware problem for the most part.

So I want to ship it to the HTC repair centre - was wondering if I could do it myself rather than go back to the retailer at pacific mall and pay them to have it shipped out and back? I noticed on HTC's site they ask you to bring it to the retailer. Since this is unbranded, will I have to ship it to a specific location (assuming HTC allows that?) Can I find out from the serial# etc?

Basically I need to know if I"m allowed to send it for repairs by myself and the location I will need to ship it to.
