What tool is used for getting these out? I tried a couple small flat head and phillips but i couldnt get them out. Anyone know where to buy one?

The screw needs a Tri-Wing bit. The screws are designed that way too keep consumers out (voiding warranty).

well, i bought a screw driver that will fit, another slider for 'parts' and my warranty is well over. Anyway you could try and explain what i needed to do? Thanks for replying by the way.

wow. no reply?

I too came here looking for how to take apart the Kx5 to replace the buttons. I already have the 3 wing #0 bit and got the 2 screws off the back, but the problem is, there seems to be 2 more under the slider that I can't get to.

So how does this phone come apart?
