I'm planning on getting a Slide tomorrow and it doesn't sound like there are any free programs available in the catalog other than a calculator. I don't have a problem paying for apps I want but sometimes it's nice to have freebees to fill the gaps... Any other free stuff?

i711 and AOL Mail. That's it.

Lately we've been getting free app trails like the .... "myspace app" and then "my news room app" which is basically a rss reader(my fav app by far)I have yet to see a better rss reader other than 2 I've seen for the s60 os. There's another free app now which is called "my auctioneer" basically its an app for ebay. It keeps you connected 24/7 to ebay without using your web browser(like the myspace app).

Well my auctioneer is free for a limited time, the myspace and newroom app were free as well for a limited time. Those are all trials, but something is better than nothing.

I remember when I had my HT2 anything I downloaded was free. I don't know what's up with my SIM or something, but whenever I downloaded anything from the Catalog, which was a good $40 worth, I never got charged a cent on my bill. lol
