Blackjack Modem Not Recognized (Not Vista)

Hey guys....

I wanted to perform the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade on my blackjack so I installed the driver, changed my USB connection to "Modem" and connected my blackjack to my computer. I am running Windows XP with all security/antiviri turned off. Device manager never found anything new. The strange part is that when I change to activesync or USB everything works as expected.

Anyone else experience this problem or ever see this? Any suggestions?
