Considering the BB Curve over my BJ II

I recently got a BJ II last week, and I've been playing iwth it plenty. It mostly works well, but I'm a bit pissed off at it mostly because of it's terrible bluetooth stack, making it unable for me to use my headset for voice dialing, which is specifically why I got a headset in the first place- it's illegal to drive on the phone where I live. Also, I'm uneasy about windows. Yeah there are lots of little apps you can get for it, but I've had to restart this phone so many times now because it hangs or whatever, not to mention it will not sync with my mac without me buying some other peice of $50 software that I don't want to buy.
Will a Blackberry have as many free apps, is it tweakable, will the BT work better, and will it sync with my mac? Has anyone switched from a WM5/6 phone to a Blackberry and liked it better?

I had to BJII and switched to the Curve 8310 with ATT and haven't looked back since. I love the Curve.

If you're a mac user, I dont know how or why you even have a WM6 phone...
I have the 8310, but we have BES at work, so thats the only way I can get my work email, is with a true BB device, but I love it!
I can't answer your questions on the BB with Mac, hopefully someone will.

I have used just about every type of device there is, each for months at a time. My most recent switch was from a BJ I to the Curve. I have not looked back. Among many things, two items particarly stood out: first, the Curve's battery life is much longer, and second, the keyboard on the Curve is way better. One of the things I really hated on the BJ was that the OS could not keep up with my typing, and I would have to go back and fill in all the missing letters after I typed a sentence or two. I never have that problem on the Curve. On the downside, BBs are pretty much un-tweakable.

I have a BJI, the Pearl and the Curve. I have had better reception performance on the Blackberries, the Pearl edging out the Curve.
BB's un-tweakable? I wouldn't agree with that as I have added the apps I need and it is pretty easy to create your own display themes once you have the right tools. But the WM units had many more free apps that I found useful and is more tweakable out-of-the-box than the BB.
