Chances of having a LG CU575 Trax XBM for a SE W580i?

A little over a year ago I paid full price for a CU500. I broke it last week and used my insurance to get a new phone. They shipped me a LG CU575. its a piece of crap. the phone just randomly loses signal in places it shouldn't. anyways...if i call them and tell them that its broken (which it must be..or else its the worst phone ever made)...and ask for a W580i, would they switch it out for me?
