No volume for voice records?

I'm a new user, so bear with me. I know how to create voice records and access them, but when I do there is no volume. When I access the Voice Record Menu for any given message, and go to Memory, there appears to be a volume meter there which is set to 0. It looks to be adjustable, but I can't find any keys/arrows which will adjust it up. Is there a secret here? I have checked over my owner's manual and downloaded two online manuals, but none seems to address how to set volume for voice records. Any help would be appreciated.

If you're seeing that when you go to Memory, it's a Memory meter showing you approximately how much memory you have used.
Playback volume for sounds is controlled by the side keys. I'm not sure if it works the same for voice records, though.

I've found the answer. The solution was too dumb to mention here, but lets just say I wasn't looking in the right place. Thanks for taking the time to give some input, Telyx. Consider this solved.
