Hey I just bough the HTC touch from bell (the white one) and i have searched these forums as well as the xda-developers site and i havn't found what im looking for.....

I need like a step by step guide on how to install 3rd party apps...i was looking at the instruction that come with S2U2 .99c and I still don't understand what needs to be done.

can anyone help me out?

very simple... for most programs you have two ways of installing apps... ether with an installer thru your computer or thru a cab file directly on the phone.

for S2U2, its a cab file... so you need to copy that cab file onto your phone and open it and it will install it all by itself.

do i unzip it on my computer or unzip it on the phone :S

Either or, as long as the cab file is on the ppc it will install. If its an exe file then you'll need to install it through your pc with your ppc connected to the pc.

heres an even dumber question how do i get it from my pc onto my ppc it wont let me drag and drop it onto my "mobile device" through "my computer"

go into mobile device, create a folder name it whatever you want, drag and drop the cab file into there. If the cab file was in a zip folder you need to unzip it first, then drag and drop it in.
