Ok well after about a week of trying to get used to the touch and finally getting everything in order I was very annoyed with the gmail situation. At first I tried doing the pop3 instructions (which was also the touch's automatically set up my gmail from the internet settings option) ...

The problem with this method for me anyways was my gmail never was sent to my phone when it was sent to my inbox, even after setting my refresh mail rate at like 2-5 min check intervals ... very frustrating ...

Than I see the WM6 instructions up on gmail recently to try and fix this problem, leading me down the imap4 settings road ... thought this would help ... unfortunately same results would never get my emails sent to me the minute they were sent to my inbox online ... even went as far as talking it through with a Sprint tech who carried me through to the detect automatic settings option again ....

Long story short i realized that the touch came wth a Sprint Mobile Email App. Checked it out, set up my gmail through this method and bam, now i get every email on the dot when it arrives in my inbox online to my phone ... thank god ...
