I got a family plan and 3 phones in December. The two other people on my plan want to switch back to Verizon as we had problems with AT&Ts service. I just received the rebate cards for the phones. If I switch back to Verizon will these rebate cards still work?

The rebate conditions require that you meet the requirement at the time that the fulfillment company checks your status. Since the rebate debit cards were approved and issued to you, there is no requirement that you meet the conditions forever. Depending upon what phones you got, the purchase alone might be all the qualification needed. PDAs might require a data or messaging package. Once you have the cards in hand and your rebate was through AT&T and not an outside vendor such as Amazon or Wirefly, you're done.

Yeah, you can use the rebate card to help out on the ETF. Along with that, you can sell your AT&T phone on ebay and help with the ETF, also. I did that with VZW and Nextel before I found my home here at Cingular about two years ago. If you have a popular phone in good shape, it will fetch good $$$.
