BT'ing a pix from Sprint Katana to my AT&T RAZR

Hello all,

My coworker has a Sprint Katana (don't know if it is 1st generation, don't know if Katanas are like RAZR's and are in the 3rd or 4th generation). I know nothing about the Katana's, their OS, or Sprint (if they disable the ability to send photos via BT). I was able to turn BT on, but I can't figure out how to send a photo via BT. I don't know if she has a manual.

She is looking to transfer pix from her phone to her computer. She probably doesn't have a USB cable and probably doesn't want to buy a cable & software.

We tried emailing the pix to an email address but got the following error message:

Error:
G 4

Please try again later.

I thought that I would try to BT the pix to my phone because I can transfer pix to my computer.

How do I BT a pix to my Cingular(AT&T) RAZR (1st gen...V3C...I think!!!). Is it even possible to BT pix (has Sprint disabled this like Verizon does)?

Can someone provide step-by-step instructions or a link to a manual or something?

Any help anyone can provide is greatly appreciated,

Conan

It is not possible to transfer pictures via Bluetooth with most (all?) Sprint handsets, including any of the three generations of Katanas. Either use a data cable and software, or contact Data Tech Support at 1-888-211-4727 to resolve the Picture Mail issue.

KG4PEQ,

Thanks for the feedback.

I'll let her know what her options are.

Thanks again for all of your help,

Conan
