Best GPS Software for the Touch w/BT GPS receiver?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I would like to know if you guys can recommend a GPS software I can purchase for use on my Touch. I don't want something loaded onto a Micro SD as I don't want to have to switch those around.

Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Karin

I'm using a Holux GPSlim 236 and I have both Tomtom 6 and iGuidance v4. The 3D view on TT6 is much nicer; however, the Navteq based maps on iG v4 are much more accurate. The text to speach on iG v4 is a nice feature. The only thing I don't like about text to speach is that not all street names are pronounced correctly. I can imagine how funny it would sound if driving in Quebec.

I have a touch cruise with gps and it came with TomTom and it works great. I had to get maps but the navigator 6 is only about $93 on Amazon.

For free? I might try Nav4all, you have to ic your phone for it to work right, but it's better than paying for something for the touch that might not work too well.

I am running Dell/Navteq with BT-332 on both my
HTC 7501 and Dell Axim51v.
It runs @ 57600 baud on both.

I was mainly speaking of free nav software.

It may not be so free if you brick your Touch, everyone
else on the thread appears to be willing to pay for software
that works.

I've paid for software maybe twice for my phones.. both times I found better free stuff shortly after paying..

Don't get me wrong,I have free software that is great
I was just pointing out that the thread was started
with reference to purchasing software and that's what I was
following.
Some of the best software I have was free.

I use street atlas 2007. It has a mobile ap. You choose the maps you want and download to you unit. I prefer it to the programs that use your data connection because sometimes they drop. This works pretty good. Do you have a BT GPS? It works great with mine.
