Broken hacked/jailbroken Iphone cant return?

I have two things wrong with it.
The vibrator wobble thing inside the phone fell off the motor and is rattling in the phone..
The touch screen stopped working.

It has never been dropped and is in very good condition and has been restored.
Since I didnt sign up for ATT apple will not let me get a refurbished one.
Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get this fixed or get a refurbished one? (or if anyone has had similar problems)

IE. have someone with a att contract take it in to get fixed? etc?

I did try something similar. But I did not jailbreak/activate the phone because I could not due to the touch screen problem. I took the phone in and they hooked it up and made me type my phone number in itunes to make sure that I had an att account that was iphone ready. I of course did not have one because I was using it on tmomo. I did try and put the original att sim card in. So they said I needed an activated att sim card with contract to return an iphone. I will try your story.



By the way, I did not know that you needed a freakin appointment to return stuff at the apple store.
