Some buttons quit working? KX5

I have a Slider Remix (KX5) and the send, back, right, and down button all quit working. Anyone else have this problem?

Any solutions?

Is it possible to get another KX5 and take it apart and switch out the pieces behind the buttons? if thats even my problem.

The flex cable that connects the main system board and the CCA board in the slide has went bad. I know this as a fact because I repair Kyocera phones for US Cellular. The flex cable controls almost all failures in the KX5, from audio, upper keypad, lower keypad, display, etc....

Would that only alow a couple of the buttons to go out? end, up, both the option buttons, left all still work. Would this be hard to change?

Taking it apart is easy. You need a Y screw driver, and a small phillips head.

Begin by removing the 5 Y screws from the back of the phone.
Then remove the back housing. May require a pry tool to pop it apart.
Then remove the radio board.
Then remove the 4 small phillips screws, that hold the two halves of the phone together.
The remove the 4 Y screws from the backside of the top half of the phone. and remove the housing.
Then replaced the flex cable and put everything back together.
