KRZR k1m Ringtone customization on Telus?

I just bought a KRZR from telus and it slipped my mind that I cant put my mp3's as my ringtones. So is there anysoft ware that is easy to use and safe so I can some how do this?

Mpt is the easiest but it isn't free.
The best prog that is free is P2k commander.
