HTC MDA hangs

Hi,
I have a memory intensive application running on My HTC mobile, but the whole phone hangs some times. what makes the whole phone including the hard keys hang.

Have you overclocked your phone at all? I found that when I overclocked my MDA to ~ 260MHz it would totally lock up as you describe.
