Help fixing YouTube and having issues with Installer

I just got finished transferring my contacts to my jailbroken iPhone just a little while ago. I have a jailbroken 1.1.2 installation, and I went to Installer with the intention of downloading OpenSSH. When attempting to install it, I get the error message of: "Package download failed: can't find host!".

I'm using my WiFi connection, and I'm having issues downloading more programs than just this one. I paid a visit to the iPhone IRC channel over at hackintosh, and someone recommended that I reinstall Installer, which I did, but it still fails to function. I was told to also try downloading and installing the BSD Subsystem, which did infact download and install. I performed a reboot and tried to download OpenSSH again, but it doesn't work.

I'm also having issues using YouTube, where it says it's failing to connect. I went through the HowardForums Wiki and saw that after jailbreaking 1.1.2 you should run something available from RapidShare I saw earlier today, but since I can't get Installer to function I'm already worried at this point.

Any ideas? Thanks.

ok first of all WHY ARE U STILL USING 1.1.2
try using youtube fix first
and if that doesnt work then just try retoring and jailbreaking again it only takes like 5-10 mins

When I was getting help in IRC, a guy helped me get to 1.1.2 since I just opened it up out of the box and was having issues with jailbreaking. I'm happy with 1.1.2 at the moment.

Anyone have any idea why I'm getting Installer download failures?

I don't really think that it should require that. I previously installed things through Installer on this phone before I switched stuff over...
