I just unlocked 1.1.2 OTB but how to upgrade to 1.1.3?!!?

I just unlocked a OTB 1.1.2 with ZiPhoneOSX. It works great, but how do I update to 1.1.3? I have another iphone that can see "official 1.1.3 upgrade" in system of installer just fine. But on this OTB 1.1.2 iphone it doesnt! Is it because I used Zib's unlock? Am I missing some sources? I checked and I added all that I could I think. Could it be also because I have the newer BL?

Congrats on your unlock! Truthfully, I do not see any reason you could not upgrade to 1.1.3 with itunes and then use ZiPhone as needed. With that said, if you have 4.6bl (which chances are you do) you cannot unlock 4.03.13_G baseband (1.1.3 baseband) without downgrading the bootloader to 3.9. ZiPhoneOSX will do this, but in my opinion it is pretty risky, and I'm not sure the risk is worth it.

To sum it up, you have two options to my knowledge.
1. Downgrade 4.6bl to 3.9bl for unlocking the 1.1.3 baseband. (i think when you do this, it results in unlocked 1.1.3 fully, but im not sure. do more research about the ZiPhone2.0 bootloader downgrade process.)
2. Upgrade to 1.1.3 with itunes. Use ZiPhone to unlock / jailbreak / activate. This route I believe will leave you with 1.1.3 firmware, but with 1.1.2 baseband (4.02.13_G). Which means google maps locate will not be working properly.

You'll see reports of problems with ZiPhone, so any of this is of course risky. Try to make sure to do as much research as you can before moving forward, to hopefully avoid any problems!

Again, I could be wrong in some or all of this. However, to the best of my knowledge this information is accurate.

I was in the same situation. otb 1.1.2 i just updated to 1.1.3 via itunes and i used Ziphone to jailbreak/activate and unlock.

4.6 / 4.02.13_g.. ziphone will auto downgrade it.

Thank you. That is what I thought. ZiPhone flashes the 4.02.13 bb.

I also did that in the end. Upgrade through itunes, ran ZiPhone. But google localeme works, why???

hmm that is interesting haha. Im not sure why it is working.
I do know the fixes to get it working, at least in some way.
1. install Locate Me from installer. run it & google maps locate should work. you will have to run locate me once every time you reboot.
2. install Navizon from installer, register for free, and run that.

either of those options should get it working. but not sure why it is working for you now...maybe it wont after reboot? idk.
