Just browsing the web seeing where i can buy the 8525 for cheap w/o signing up for a contract and ran across this phone on tigerdirect.com

sexy as hell IMO. anyway i knew nothing of this phone and googling it really doesnt help. it looks like the 8125/wizard but it looks a lot better. is this better than the 8525? any "reviews" i come across are dated AFTER the 8525 was released. trying to compare processor speeds, ROM, etc. thanks.

The specs look like the Wizard/T-Mobile MDA.
It's the older 200mhz TI 850, 1.3mp cam, etc..
It's certainly not as good as the Hermes/8525
I just bought a used 8525 on ebay for $250.

Yeah, that thing's a POS, 200mhz processor means it will run slow like the gsm touch. All of the newer phones have at least 400MHZ Qualcomm 7 series processors, and some have 128mb of ram.
