So I've come down with a second issue (although this is very minor). Seems iTunes will not sync my iphone on the same computer if I use my Tmobile SIM instead of my ATT SIM. I guess I will have to live with that. I think that's the only option I have is to have the phone synced on one computer with one SIM. I will try to sync the other phone on another computer. |

Once it restored to 1.1.4 than just run ziphone 2.5 The other option with 1.1.3 new out of the box firmware is just to download ziphone 2.4 and unlock/jailbreak/activate or whatever you want to do.(ziphone 2.4 works very easily with firmware 1.1.3) The process is very simple. However, since you have a new iPhone Ziphone will downgrade your BL from 4.6 to 3.9 |

The reason I'm asking this is because I previously own a 1.0.2 iphone and I put it into DFU mode and restored it to 1.1.1 and the phone completely crashed. It wouldn't turn back on ever again. Also should I use XP or Vista. Thanks in advance.

Is there anything besides the bootloader downgrade that is irreversible using ZiPhone? Thanks.... |

I want to get Apollo on my phone and it requires the BSD subsystem. |

After reading around it seems the processes for this would bedifferent for me since I am a AT&T subscriber and only want to add 3rd party apps.

I am on 1.1.2 which has been jailbroken. The phone was 1.1.1 originally, and was jbd and then updated with jb. I have several custom apps (which I am ok with reinstalling and or losing). I have not done anything to 1.1.3, waiting to see what happened. Can I just run ZiPhone 2.5c? Or should I first upgrade iTunes and let iTunes upgrade my phone to 1.1.4? |

I have since tried to just restore to a regular 1.1.4, non-jailbroken install, but through a number of tries I have been unsuccessful. I wind up with one of two scenarios: 1) Full signal bars, edge activation, but can't get out of emergency call mode. Can, however, make and receive calls just fine. 2) Completely flat signal bars. Own number doesn't show up in phone. Can't make or receive calls. I'm not sure what to do now that I haven't already tried. I have DFU'd using ziphone and then restored in iTunes to 1.1.4. I've refurbished in ziphone and then restored in iTunes. Neither works. |

It's reasonable to assume that ZiPhone will fully support it without flaw sometime down the road... Or not? 3. There was an ZiPhone walkthrough on iClarified indicating that after doing the previously mentioned, to change the locale if we're in an unsupported conuntry... Is Canada unsupported? There's an auto utility that does that available from iClarified... Also, there was another thing regarding the BSD subsystem... Does ZiPhone also do this? Please let me know! |

- I'm sure you will be 'able' to - whether it will continue to work is a completely different game. I'm going to say that the upgrade is going to lock your phone, and you're going to have to re-unlock it with a newer version of ZiPhone or iPlus...that's just my guess, as it has been this way since any upgrade from 1.0.2|
