Dude you're not using any unlocked phone. This is a Jphone. If the phone is fully unlocked (software side) then of course you can just roam on GSM but Jphones are all locked. Even with these so called Simhacks they aren't software unlocking them. It's only a bypass so it can fool your phone to believe that Rogers sim you have is a Docomo sim. You can't use a Jphone outside of Japan without 1)a usim from the provider or 2)a simhack.
Rogers does support GSM and 3G. GSM has more support as North America likes GSM more than 3G (yes because we're outdated). However, in some parts of US, GSM isn't very good in terms of coverage either it's half broken. |
