Newbie with a Krzr K1(m)-adding songs

This thing is irritating me to death. I finally got the stupid program to recognize my phone. I've tried both Windows Media Player 10 and Vcast Music Manager to add songs from my PC to the phone. The book that came with the phone says to use W. Med. It says to click the Library tab. Fine. Then click "Select list options" which is to the right of the "Library Options." There's nothing to the right of that!!! I've tried figuring it out myself, but no luck. Neither program will take the song I'm trying to use. I've tried MP3, M4A, and .wmv formats. How do I simply add songs from my PC to my phone? And while I'm at it, I'd like to use one of those songs as a ringtone. How do I do that?

the memory card and memory card method is MUCH easier

just format your microsd card in the krzr
place it in you card reader
drag and drop your music files (mp3 or wma) into the my music folder that should already be there
and place the card back in your phone

for ringtones, you can make a 30 sec clip of the song on your computer
email it to your phone
and save it as a ringtone on the phone

Thanks, but I have no idea what you just said. I don't have a card reader that I'm aware of. If I do, I have no idea where it is or how to use it.

Looks like it's time to buy a card reader

. They're like 20 bucks at Staples or Circuit City or Best Buy, and if need be, an SD-Micro SD adapter. Then, just plug it in to your computer, format it, and stick the songs in the media folder that should be on it. There Go!
