WiFi keeps disconnecting on Tilt.

It's not just when the tilt goes into idle mode. It just disconnects all the time, or doesn't see the router. Or it will say "available" for my belkin router, but then I'll hit connect and I'll get a message saying it cant connect.

It will work fine for a certain amount of time, then just not connect. It will also sometimes try to connect to the GPRS EDGE system and I will tell it not to do that because I dont have a data plan. I think I may have disabled that option (but I'm not positive).

My Bluetooth doesn't connect but that's a different issue entirely

if you turn the screen off or the screen goes off or what not the wifi will disconect no matter what. Well it did on the one i had. I hated the tilt though was a battery hog glad i got rid of it.

^That's not my issue. I'm aware that the wifi will disconnect when the screen goes off. My issue is that it doesn't even see my router half the time even though I'm sitting right next to it.

I have a "true" TyTN II, but they are almost identicle, so I hope this applies. Look on the power mode of the wireless LAN settings and if it is set to "Best Battery" change it to "Best Performance". This got me going with one access point at work I was having problems with. The router I was using at home (DLink DI-524) was a different story. I ended up replacing it with a spare netgear wireless router I had and it works great with that router.
