I was wondering what was the largest memory card the mogul would accept and if the sdhc was compatible with the mogul?

I've heard of 8GB cards working. But Sprint will only tell you up to 2GB.

Is that 8gb a sdhc? Do you need any additional software to make them run?

No, almost all WM6 devices will work with SDHC out of the box even if they aren't said to, and a lot of WM5 devices will as well.

Can anyone else vouch for the 8gb micrd shdc ?

do you need a special card reader in your computer to use micr sdhc or will a normal sd reader work

thanks

I put my Scandisk 4GB card in a brand new Sprint Mogul and it would not read the card. And yes, if you haven't bought a computer or card reader in the last 12 months, chances are you'll need a reader that supports SDHC. My old one wouldn't read it in my old computer. Had to buy a new reader.

You're correct about some of the older card readers not being able to properly support SDHC, but as for the Mogul itself, it has no problem reading them, at least not in my case.

I can vouch that my Mogul has no difficulty in reading/using 4 GB Sandisk Micro SDHC cards.

I have one in it right now in fact, and here are a couple of screenshots I took of it.

You will need an SDHC compatible card reader.

I know this because my Sandisk Mobilmate SDDR-103 (card reader) doesn't work with my 4GB Sandisk Micro SDHC card whereas the SDDR-104 model does, and that model explicitly states SDHC support whereas the 103 model does not.
