Hi,

I've finally fallen out of love with it. I'm having it replaced tomorrow under Orange care, firmware upgrade.

Anyone know how much they are currently going for ?! and where would the best place to auction it ?

Any feedback much appreciated

i took a look on there just after i'd posted and they seem to be going for around £190 - £230 ish !

Seems like a decent price

Lee, any idea what FW it will have?

What was the reason for replacement?

I'm trying to get mine replaced due to poor GPRS performance and suspect the only way forward would be a A39 handset (now std I believe)

Hi Bazzer,

I am led to believe by the Orange Cust Service Rep that it will be definatly A39.

The reasons for replacement are as follows;

GPRS keeps hanging
Menu system keeps freezing
Not receiving MMS, despite being able to on my Nokia 6100
Crackling noise during a call (intermitent)
Very slow SMS

I was getting to the point that i was just gonna throw the phone in the bin, i'd had enough. Anyway the nice rep who i spoke to was more than willing to replace it for me.

Thats very interesting just started the process of trying to get mine replaced.

Hopefully I'll get same response you did.

I'll be happeir with my GD if the GPRS works better and the 200 SMS would be a boon.

If u have Orange care, just cite some of the reasons that i did, i spoke to someone last week and he told me to upgrade it myself, the joker !! when i told the woman this on the phone earlier - she said that wasn't right and has put a complaint in on my behalf !
