K790a Tri-band EDGE 850/1800/1900 MHz I'm sure your fine, since the bands are hardware dependent. My k790a is flashed to k790c so I have the Chinese language on the phone and everything works the same. |

Your phone will have the K790i bands no matter what firmware you have on it.... G = GPRS E = EDGE It doesn't mean GOOD and EXCELLENT All you need to do is flash your phone back to a K790i firmware. I have the Chinese-HK firmware if you want it, msg me, its a simple fix. AGAIN, NO GDFS WRITE!!!! |

Just like how my K790a flashed to K790i says 850/1800/1900 (without GDFS patching) |

If I make my phone quadband using the script, it works... it works, of course it works, it was working before... it SHOWS quadband....
but try blocking off all bands except the one you didn't have... I'm just showing my results, and my findings based on logical testing... just providing with 1 opinion, I'm sure if others test, it won't be just me |
