Sounds like a corrupt installation. Uninstall MPT, clean the registry and then reinstall MPT. Do all of the other functions work?

yes only the file transfer studio doesn't..I called up a moto rep & he emailed me a newer version of MPT, after installing it..still the same..

I just created a new folder using media sync & opened the java apps on extended memory folder...
