I have a week 42 iphone and have it updated to 1.1.2 and it is jailbroken and unlocked
I want to go to 1.1.3 becuase of the text box limit has been raised to 75,000 from the 1000 now
I have version 1.1.2 (3B48b)
Modem Firmware of 04.02.13_G
Do i have BL 4.9?
How to go to 1.1.3?

Upgrade through iTunes and run Ziphone.
BTW, bootloader, baseband and firmware are 3 different things. Very different.

i know that they are different things, but im seeing if you have a BL 3.9 or 4.6 you need to go through it a different way
I posted that info to see if anyone could tell if i had upgraded the baseband
Thanks

From that you can't tell bootloader, with 1.1.2 firmware and 4.2 baseband correct for 1.1.2 firmware level.
Key question is what was firmware when you bought the phone -- if 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 out of the box; then you have 4.6 bootloader.
If still not sure -- an installer app exists that will tell you what bootloader you have.
Ziphone can downgrade 4.6 bootloaders to 3.9, allowing you to then fully unlock. You do not want to upgrade from 3.9 to 4.6 bootloader, if anything you want to downgrade to 3.9 to open it up to unlocking.

i bought the phone as a week 42, and it came with 1.1.1
So i just need to find out where to get the 1.1.3, restore or upgrade in itunes, i have 7.6 then run the Ziphone?
Thanks so much

Google will give you many hooks to 1.1.3 fw download.
Definately do DFU restore to 1.1.3 firmware, NOT normal restore mode; or you invite youtube, mail crash, no sound problems....
Answer 'no' to previous backup settings restore in itunes -- set phone up as new; or you invite youtube, mail crash, no sound problems...
Use ZiPhone 2.3 to jailbreak/activate
Use installer -> Anysim 1.1.3 to unlock 4.3 baseband; Ziphone (and Independance) unlocks use a baseband downgrade to 4.2 to unlock, which is yucky IMHO. You want google maps locate to keep working, with the baseband Apple inteneded 1.1.3 to run with.

Correct, if AT&T you don't need unlock -- just jailbreak & activate.
2.3 is on his blog, not sure about win GUI -- but command line one is there...http://www.ziphone.org/

i used ziphone to unlock and i have a 4.3 baseband. I believe that it uses a 4.2 baseband when you unlock phones with the 4.6 bootloader. I had a 3.9 bootloader (week 25) and have the latest firmware and baseband.
