Moto Q: Charge via USB without ActiveSync installed?

Hi all,

One of the VPs at our company just called me because he is out of town and can't charge his Moto Q through the USB port on his laptop because he doesn't have the ActiveSync software installed. Is there any way to either download that software somewhere, or another way to be able to charge via USB? He just got the phone and didn't bring his wall charger with him since he assumed he'd be able to charge it from his laptop.

If you change the properties of the USB connection in the phone to "Mass Storage" and connect to a Windows computer, it should show the contects of the storage card (assuming there is one in the phone) and also charge the handset without the need of installing anything.

The setting change can be found by navigating to Start/System Tools/Settings/More.../Connections/USB Device Type
