Sirocco Keypad with Nokia 8801

Does the sirocco keypad work on the Nokia 8801? The layout seems very similar and i just wanted to know if it is a direct swap. I own a Nokia 8801 and I would like to know if this swap is possible?

I have both and just by looking at the phones it seems to me that it wouldn't work.
You see 8800 has a little curve at the bottom of the keypad and the Sirocco doesn't, it's flat.
