Active Sync not working on TILT

The other day i installed the ActiveSync software on my pc then proceeded to connect my TILT to my desktop. well after a few minutes of trying to locate my device, i guess my pc was unable to locate my tilt. any ideas what the problem might be?

Do you have ZoneAlarm (or any other firewall) installed? I just figured out how to set up my zoneAlarm to allow the Tilt to Sync without having to shut down the zonealarm firewall.

anyone know how to setup windows firewall to sync with my tilt with vista? with window firewall on it wont sync. i went into exceptions list and it still wont do it. when i connected to a pubic network.
