BJ1 how do i remove the AT&T shortcuts from the start menu?

So when I use ActiveSync to explore the devise and try to remove them that way it tells me that I don't have permission to remove them.

Make sure you app-unlock your phone. Then download Total Commander or Resco Explorer, navigate to Windows > Start Menu, and then delete all the shortcuts.

Not sure if you can delete them in activesync, even with app-unlocking. Try that and tell us how it goes, if it doesn't work, try the method above.

You can delete some of them through AS once it's app-unlocked, but some of them still give the error.

Also, unable to delete the stupid factory ringtones through AS. If I have to copy my tones from microSD to the phone's memory, I at least want to kill as much of their worthless crap as I can (shortcuts, ringtones, apps I don't need)
