Syncing a US Cellular RAZR with OS X

I'm looking for some information on how to sync a RAZR with Mac OS X's address book application. US Cellular said that it was impossible to sync any of their phones except the Blackberry with a Mac, but Apple shows several USCC phones are compatible with iSync. I've never used iSync before, so I was looking for some advice.

1. How many fields will transfer? Some of my contacts have six or more phone numbers/fax numbers/pagers/etc.--will all those make it over? Will the custom labels (eg. work, home, work fax, pager, etc.) from from Address Book transfer?

2. Do postal addresses transfer to the phone? How about email addresses? Birthdays?

3. Is there a limit on the number of contacts that the phone will support, or is that limited only by the size of the micro SD card?

I know I could get a phone and try it, but with my carrier even the basic RAZR costs $90, so I was hoping for some advice from someone who already has their phone syncing with a Mac. If the RAZR won't support this, is there another phone (preferably motorola) that might? My service is with US Cellular.
