Unable to Get Out of DFU Restore Mode with 1.1.1

Hey Guys,
Quick question for you. I am trying to return back to 1.1.1 from 1.1.3. I am
able to do the DFU restore but I can not get out of the damn DFU mode once
it is done restoring 1.1.1. Here is what I have, 3.9 BL, a baseband from 1.1.3. I am able to get out of DFU mode if I restore to 1.0.2, but then I can't
downgrade the baseband as most programs will only run on 1.1.1 or 1.1.2. I have tried everything from soup to nuts this is really beginning to try my
patience. I have tried Apptapp installer and iBricker version .91 but it appears
these programs are set up to run on 1.0.2. and I cannot get out of DFU mode with these 2 programs if I have 1.1.1 installed. I am running iTunes 7.5.
Please help this is driving me nuts.

Mac users can use independence to boot from dfu mode, do you have access to a mac?

You can *try* cranking volume on pc, then docked holding home and sleep until you hear phone disconnect and immediately let go of both
