I have both, but it seems like more people have a Curve than an 8820
I like the wifi on the 20 but the looks and the camera on the curve is a plus too

Curve for camera and improved ergonomics.

The keypad on the curve is better IMO. As stated before, the curve is smaller than the 8820.

Does that really matter?

I had the 8800 (similar to 8820), sold that beast, got the Curve, much happier myself.
Way better keyboard, and fits in my had better, smaller hands.
To each his own.

A curve with Wi-Fi would be the bomb.

I use the wi-fi on my 8820 both at work and at home to get much faster speeds when surfing or downloading content over the air. The Wi-Fi makes a huge difference.

I would rather have the camera over the WiFi - but i love photography so....?

If you want the Curve and WiFi, why not get the 8320 which has WiFi with the sleek looks of the curve. It has to be unlocked, and you lose your GPS functionality of course.

I own both and honestly I prefer the 8820 for the WiFi and the size isn't really that big of a difference to me. Right now my BB8820 is at ColorwarePC getting the treatment so while I wait 3 weeks I have to use the curve and I am reminded each day how much I prefer the 8820.
