trace it? are u serious? its not like we're in the 2010's yet u know lol but no theres no way but u can tell apple the serial number and they will blacklist it I THINK so the dude who stole it from u wont be able to get service if it breaks ever.. how did u get it stolen btw?

I think all u can do is telling Apple the serial number to black list it...tracing it is not possible I think.

Unfortunately, since it doesn't have GPS it can't be tracked. Your carrier could trace the device via its IMEID and E-OTD/U-TDOA, but you'd need a court order for them to do it.

BTW, I wish carriers would offer to refuse service to devices that were reported stolen, that would make at least a dent into that practice since the device would then be less useful to a potential thief.
