Hi all,
For some reason I can't get my s/w version by typing *#9999#. I've tried searching for other methods of accessing this information, but can't find anything. I'm using a GD88, factory unlocked with (presumably older) factory s/w. ON the same topic, I'm in the US using Vstream/Tmobile ....so would finding a service centre to flash a new firmware be difficult (as Pana doesn't seem to know about firmware upgrades like service centres in Europe?) Would it be easier to do it myself?
Also, I'm trying to figure out what other 'service' codes I can type in the phone (other than for IMEI) to get info about the phone, play with settings, etc. I can do this kinda stuff with my T68i, are there any for the GD88?
TIA,
Adam

You have to push these numbers emediatly after the phone is turned on, and before it has established connection to your network
