How to change wheel to adjust ringtone volume?

Hi,
I want to change the wheel on the side of the Kaiser to adjust the ringtone volume. Is there anything I can do to change that?

The volume touch strip is the worst part of this phone. Set the volume you want to leave it on, then go to settings, more, more, then "volume touch strip" and take the check mark out of "enable touch strip."
there is also a way to make it less susceptible to the touch, but I don't care about that...I just want it off!

I haven't found a way to do it on the Tytn other than if you flick the wheel down when a call comes in, it will silence it. But there has to be a way. Anyone?
