Make sure you go throguh the program list and not have too many apps running. The Sprint Touch is using an OMAP 200mhz chip to which really can only handle 2 programs before it starts chuggin.

Sorry, but that information is incorrect. The Sprint Touch (CDMA) uses a 400 MHz Qualcomm MSM7500, not OMAP. The original GSM version had a 201mhz OMAP processor. It can certainly handle more than two programs being open at once.

More details on the Sprint Touch can be found here.

Opps that wat happens when you play with 3 GSM Touch all day long and not pay attention to the title.

Still good idea to make sure that there isnt a load of apps runnin as a method of TS.

Is this a standard problem with the Touch? How often does it occur? I'm getting rid of my 9QC because it either freezes up or refuses to connect to network while having signal and I have to restart it several times a day. A sprint tech said it's a known problem.

I'm looking at getting the touch, but want to make sure it's not known for any big problems like this. A restart every couple of days isn't bad for me, not coming off of this Q.

no i have heard a couple of problems like this with the touch but i would not say it was a big deal.

I have only had one lock up issue and that is when running Opera Mini, also reported by many others. The Touch has been very stable and reliable.

Hmm.

If you run windows live on your today screen it can an does cause intemittent lock ups.

I also use Memmaid, to clear out my notifications that WM seems to love to pile up.

My brother has to constant turn the mobile off and on just to get it to connect to the network. Prolly is a known issue for the Moto Q9c. Plus WinMo standard FTL

They're offering me a trade on my moto q9c because I've complained about these issues. I was looking at the touch which is why I was asking. Then I found out about the M800 last night and now I think I'd rather have it. I don't need a smartphone really for anything. Problem is that there is no release date yet and I'm not sure if this offer is going to expire.
